Academic Activities

EXAMINATIONS AND PROMOTIONS

  1. As per the CBSE Circular No. Acad-05/2017 the Examinations from Academic year 2017-18 and onwards would be conducted as per the remodeled assessment structure.
  2. Three Tests will be held, one being the Mid-Term Test and other two being Pre Mid-Term and Post Mid-Term with portion of syllabus cumulatively covered (Gradually increasing).
  3. Each Term Examination will be of 50 marks.
  4. Annual Examination will be of 80 Marks + 20 Marks Internal Assessments (10+5+5) i.e; average of the best two Term Tests (Weightage 10%), 5% Weightage for C.W/H.W Notebook Submission, 5% Weightage for Subject Enrichment Activities (assessed throughout the year). Thus total marks will be awarded out of 100 in each subject.
  5. Co-Scholastic Activities: W.E./ SUPW, Art Education, Health & Physical Education and other Graded Subjects will be assessed once in a year in the month of February.
  6. Discipline (Attendance, Sincerity, Behaviour, Values) shall also be graded on a Five - Point Scale (A to E).
  7. Student has to secure 33% marks out of 80 marks in the Annual Exam in each Subject separately in order to qualify in that Subject.

  • Online Result Declaration for Std. VI to IX & XI – 31st March, 2018
  1. In Class XI, two Unit Tests, Half-Yearly and Annual Examination will be conducted. A student will be declared passed only when he/she secures min. 33% Marks in each Subject, maintaining an aggregate of 33%. In the External Exam, i.e. Annual Exam, Subjects involving Practical, a candidate must obtain 33% in the Theory separately, in order to qualify in that Subject.
  2. In class XII, Three rounds of Cyclic Test, one Module Test and two Pre-Board Examinations will be conducted.
  3. If a student is found doing some unfair means during the examination then the answer sheet is taken and a new supplementary is issued to the student. Marks of the second supplementary issued will be considered.
  4. The student has to appear in all assessments. No exemption is allowed except when the student is hospitalized or in case of any death in the family. In such cases, the parent has to submit Medical Certificate along with discharge card and a Re-Exam will be conducted.
  5. A Student will be allowed to appear for the Term-End Examination only if he fulfills 75% Attendance throughout the year.
