Role of education in career development of individuals consists of lifelong process of developing work values and learning about opportunities inter alia. Education at all levels should be concerned with the development of total human life, including the career development needs of individuals, and it should be adapted to become a more relevant introduction to the world beyond it. - Unlocking paths to success: CA, CS, CMA explored in an insightful seminar led by CA Gagan Khandelia for Class 11th Commerce students on December 7, 2023. Empowering students’ future with knowledge and gaining clarity on rewarding career choices.
- Mr Anshuman Pramanic from DUNIC (institute of design), conducted a really informative seminar on Career in Designing for the students of class XI science Commerce and Humanities on 23-11-2023. He informed about the career scope in the field of designing with good detail and example. The session was truly useful as the students got to know how popular this field is, and that any student from any stream can opt for it.
- Mr Darshan Jayswal conducted an enlightening ‘Knowledge Discovery Session’ for XI and XII Humanities Stream students. The seminar, held on 19 August 2023 at Agarwal Vidya Vihar, covered key aspects of career planning. Mr Jayswal emphasized the importance of setting SMART career goals, stressing the need for self-assessment. He focused on choosing the right graduation course, where he discussed aligning course choices with individual interests and career aspirations. The concluding part of the session explored various career options after completing the 12th Humanities stream, showcasing both traditional and emerging fields where Humanities graduates excel. - On August 11, 2023, Manish Chauhan conducted a valuable seminar on ‘Career Counseling’ tailored for XI Humanities students in Agarwal Vidya Vihar. Sharing his expertise, he guided attendees through a range of potential career paths within the humanities stream. - The ‘Global Career Options’ seminar held at Agarwal Vidya Vihar on 31 July 2023 was a highly informative and engaging event that provided students of Class XI with valuable insights into international career opportunities. Mr Saurav Hete, a renowned expert in the field of global careers, was the guest speaker for the seminar. He began the seminar by emphasizing the numerous benefits of studying abroad. He highlighted how studying in a foreign country not only provides a high-quality education but also offers exposure to diverse cultures and perspectives, fostering personal growth and global understanding. The students were introduced to some of the world’s topmost universities renowned for their academic excellence and global recognition. Saurav sir presented insights into admission criteria, scholarships, and the unique offerings of these universities, inspiring students to aim for higher education at these prestigious institutions. In order to help students assess their choices better, he explained the significance of both qualitative and quantitative evaluation when considering universities and courses. He encouraged students to reflect on their personal preferences, career aspirations, and the academic rigour of the courses they wish to pursue. The guest speaker stressed the importance of developing a well-rounded profile to stand out in the competitive global job market. He also presented a comprehensive list of popular entrance exams accepted by universities in different countries. These exams included standardized tests such as IELTS, SAT, ACT, CAT, GMAT, and more, depending on the level of education and course of study. - A seminar on “Communication Skills” was arranged in Agarwal Vidya Vihar for the students of Class IX on 21st July 2023 wherein the resource person was Ms.Heena Jain. The seminar started with the importance of manners in our communication. She also talked about the ways of improving communicative skills and developing LSRW model in their communication. The students involved themselves wholeheartedly in the seminar.
- A seminar on “GOOD STUDY HABITS” was organised by Agarwal Vidya Vihar, Vesu on 30 July, 2022 for the students of the Commerce and Humanities Stream. Shri Hemantkumar Sharma, the director of Agarwal Vidya Vihar conducted the seminar. He explained to everyone the value of being patient in all situations. He urged the students to follow their dreams. He also asked them to be ‘GOAL ORIENTED’ and stressed on the significance of ‘Self Reliance and Self Actualisation ‘.
- A seminar on ”How to crack CLAT/ Management and CUET Exams” was organised by Agarwal Vidya Vihar, Vesu on 30th July, 2022 for the students of Commerce and Humanities Stream. Mr. Naveen Jannavula conducted the seminar. He gave the students an insight into the process of cracking CLAT- Common Law Admission Test and CUET- Central Universities Entrance Test. He also explained to the students the significance of ‘Career Building and Personality Development ‘. The students were made aware about the Entrance Test Criteria of Topmost Universities of India and were also guided about various options after completing class 12.
- A seminar on ‘Top Career Choices in Finance Industry ‘ was organised by Agarwal Vidya Vihar on 30 July, 2022 for the students of Commerce Stream. Mr. Shailesh Bhala was the resource person. He introduced various topics to the students like Investment Management, Equity Research, Portfolio Management, Venture Capital and Wealth Management. He also made the students aware about ‘The right way to prepare for CFA’ and also gave the relevant details. The students involved themselves wholeheartedly in the seminar and got their queries clarified.
- On 27 June 2022, a workshop was conducted on Income Tax guided by Mr. Bharat Boricha with relevance to Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. It was an interactive session which proved to be immensely useful, especially to the students of the Commerce stream.
- On 12 March 2022, Agarwal Vidya Vihar organised a seminar to make Parents aware about the harmful effect of Drugs laced Food. The Programme was chaired by the Addl. Commissioner of Police, Traffic & Crime, Shri Sharad Singhal (IPS) along with the President of Agarwal Samaj Vidya Vihar Trust, Shri Shyamsunder Ji Agarwal, Immediate Past President, Shri Vinodji Goyal, Past President Shri Pramodji Chaudhari, Vice President, Shri Subhashji Bansal, Chairman of College Committee, Shri Ram Mohanji Agarwal, and other members of the Trust Board were also present. Thereafter, teachers of Agarwal Vidya Vihar gave a thought-provoking presentation about the subject and a very enlightening Session by the Chief Guest on “No Drugs” campaign.
